  I worked as a teacher's assistant for two middle school science classes. My responsibilities included grading students' written work, facilitating class discussion, and leading class activities. Through this experience, I learned to work behind the scenes, doing whatever was asked of me to take care of things and enable the teacher's to be able to focus on students.

  Junior golf development assistant

  I worked as a junior golf camp coach through the summer. My responsibilities included teaching kids to play golf by leading specific lessons, demonstrating various shots and techniques, and helping out other coaches when needed. For two weeks out of the summer, I was in charge of the camp, meaning that I facilitated on-course lessons, practice time, and drop-off/pick-up logistics. I interacted with kids of various ages, as well as their parents/grandparents and other coaches, helping me use my interpersonal skills and make them better. Show less

  This internship was with Carolina Axle Surgeons, a tractor trailer repair and maintenance business. I worked in the accounting department, learning to use QuickBooks Pro to input sales in voices, monitor accounts payable, process customer payments, pay vendors, monitor accounts receivable, etc. I also helped the accountant create and implement a new accounting system for the new business division the company acquired shortly after my internship began.

  I worked as a golf coach for junior golfers attending summer camps at Applewood Golf Course. My responsibilities included managing the campers, teaching them golf skills, and communicating with parents and/or babysitters.
