  Under Angela’s administration, the NCIRD SharePoint team has successfully launched 70+ production sites and recently completed a successful migration from Microsoft SharePoint to the latest release, SharePoint 2013. This migration included developing a complete test strategy & communication plan ensuring minimal transitional impact to the environment’s 1500+ users. Following the completion of a successful migration, user training instructor led training sessions were conducted and the birth of an interactive learning portal was established. Angela played an integral role in rebranding the NCIRD Intranet Site that was launched in May 2013. To date, the internal presence of NCIRD touches approximately 25,000 CDC Employees with a spotlight on latest employee news, policy updates, supported training, and advisory committee recommendations. To kickoff 2014, Angela and her entire team were recognized at the NCIRD Annual Awards Ceremony with the Excellence in Information Technology Award. Angela’s true passion for health awareness and education propels her commitment through mentoring youth at McNair Academy of Learning as a CDC Ambassador. Her thorough Project Management expertise as a certified Project Manager, visibility within the Project Management community locally and nationally, and extensive background in Health Information Technology began with the State of Georgia Department of Community Health and Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) Health Sector Group. This proven track record provides added value to the quality of work produced and the desire to enhance public health technology solutions for the improvement of key business drivers and continuing operational excellence in globally aiding human health and well being.
