The product features the brands infamous Kiwi bird, and we were determined to bring him to life. Our animation team researched the curious little bird and his movements, which captivated its consumers. My role was to deliver the creative for the project, which encompassed conceptualisation and interpreting the brief visually, client liaison, storyboarding, creation of animation assets and working with our animators to ensure concept met final delivery.ResultsAs well as glowing feedback, this project led onto more promotional films for additional brands. However, Standard Life was keen to ensure that all employees got the chance to enjoy the immersive experience created for the leadership community. ApproachOur biggest challenge was to avoid losing the experience of the original event in the translation to digital. With that, our solution was to create a bespoke application that was in line with the original event experience and interactivity, as far as was possible. We also created a bespoke secure data collation system, where the user could sync the data stored on each device to secure portable location, ensuring no valuable data was lost.As well as project lead for this, I was head creative, designing the app's User Interface and Experience. I worked in tandem with our developer, creating the app under extremely tight deadlines.ResultsThe Delivering "Why" App engaged employees in different topics and invited them to answer some big questions. 70 tablets loaded with the app were sent to tour the globe on a 12-week road show used by more than 4,000 employees worldwide, capture their thoughts on the future. This feedback helped, and continues to help shape the story of the Standard Life brand. Show less
