My job was reparation of existing marine electrical systems as well as the setting up of entirely new systems. Reparations include reparing or removing old electrical systems and setting up ship's brand new electric network and system components.My responsibilities:- threading and set up the ship's electrical network- sealing and closure of marine cable insulation (fire and water)- connecting marine closets (main panel, sub-panel, alarm cabinets, generators, motors, pumps)- testing ship systems and commissioning.During my employment in this company I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge so I was promoted and became directly responsible for carrying out the work.That included:- coordination of work with other leaders on board- organization of work and people in order to achieve the goals- electrical installation according to the given designs and correction of the same if necessary- finalization and final commissioning for which I was responsible. Unlike previous ships I was working on, these ships are exclusively made for river systems.
