      Scaled up Project Coordinator role to a PMO Lead role including managing three Project Administrators. Scaled up and automated several supporting processes (schedule management, travel bookings, timesheeting, staff induction) to mirror the change in project team from 40 co-located team members to over 200 at several NZ sites. This was for the EMPOWER project, part of the JEDI Programme.

      Project Managed the Integration testing between UNISYS, New Zealand Police and the Ministry of Justice following system updates by all 3 organisations.Re-engineered the monthly Project Portfolio Billing process to reduce the overall billing time from 16 hours to 2 hours per month.Established a Project Management Office (PMO) that brought together two separate delivery teams (.Net and LINC) to work under a single governance framework for the Land Transport account.Developed and implemented an agreed Scope Change Control process between the Land Transport NZ client and Unisys.Formalised the Project Issue Management process and implemented the process across the Project teams. Identified risks and shortcomings with the previous project management and realigned the project teams to successfully deliver the projects.Led Global Project Technology teams and vendors to establish new capabilities for: • OFFSHORING roles from New Zealand to India using a new Citrix connection. • selling COVERED BONDS in the European market created (SECURITISATION) from pools of AAA-rated mortgages. First New Zealand bank to do so. • selling insurance as part of a total financial package in Bank Branches, or Rural consulting, by integrating VERO INSURANCE systems directly with ANZ. • closing all bank systems, taking a "haircut" from all deposits and reopening all within in 24 hours. This was a requirement for the Reserve Bank of New Zealand i.e. OPEN BANK RESOLUTION (OBR). • using a mathematical model instead of expert rating on Rural loans. The whole Rural Loan book was subsequently bulk re-rated.Led the technical design for implementing the China UNION PAY (CUP) credit card scheme at ANZ NZ ATM’s and EFTPOS.Led the project team to upgrade the full technology stack of the ANZ International Payments System (RIFE/WASP).Set up the technology teams and developed the delivery plans for the required project work to be compliant to: • Foreign Account Tax Compliant Act (FATCA) • Anti Money Laundering (AML) Show less
