  LA Groningen CCC | Team Tax and Customs AuthoritiesDuring my internship at YoungCapital I worked as a recruiter in the recruitment and selection of new informants for the Tax Information Line in Groningen. In my search for new employees I did telephone screenings, role plays and reference checks, but I also carried out many administrative tasks such as applying for Certificates of Conduct and creating contracts. In addition, I often assisted in other projects within Young Capital to recruit new candidates for other clients. Together with my colleagues we pulled out all the stops to find the perfect matches for the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration. Show less

  Trainee Privacy & Security UMCG/UG

  At the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) I am doing my graduation research on how the Faculty of Medical Sciences can better organize its privacy management. The Faculty of Medical Sciences is an institute within the UMCG where approximately 5000 students from the University of Groningen (RUG) study at the UMCG every year. A lot of personal data of these students is processed. The UMCG has a privacy policy for the processing of personal data. So does the RUG. However, the students are from the UG, but study in-house at the UMCG. They have to deal with people and systems of the UMCG. As a result, the policy of the one, clashes with the other. This incident has created confusion about who is leading in decision-making and responsibility in the field of privacy management. It is my task to investigate how the policy of the RUG can be better aligned with the policy of the UMCG. In this way I try to provide clarity so that decision-making in the field of privacy management can be legally grounded and personal data can be processed in the correct manner. Show less

  As Privacy & Security Officer for the Campus & Community cluster at the University of Groningen, I ensure that 400+ FTE of employees in my cluster can work safely and in compliance with privacy and security laws. I am the point of contact for personal data protection questions, promote awareness and advise on processes and systems. I identify risks, solve problems and manage the processing register for my cluster. Together with other Privacy & Security Officers and the UG's Privacy & Security Manager, we work towards a more secure UG corporate office (University Services). We Love Privacy & Security! Show less
