  Worked as a software developer at GK software which introduced me to troubleshooting and debugging code to identify and fix issues.I had the opportunity to apply and enhance programming skills in real-world projects.I have developed critical thinking skills to analyse problems and propose effective solutions.I primary worked with Java and also had to learn their in house programming languages which further enhanced my adaptability.I was also introduced to programming on the Eclipse IDE, which is different to the more familiar VScode and IntelliJ.Gained insights into the software development industry and understand current trends when it comes to POS systems.Developed the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies as the project demands.Experience with version control systems specifically GIT for collaborative development.Learnt how to handle merge conflicts as well as rebasing .Gained experience in both front-end (client-side) and back-end (server-side) development.I also became familiar with working on Jira to create, track, and manage tasks, issues, and user stories and, Confluence to create and edit pages to document project-related information.
