      In 2006, I was appointed the Forensics Section Leader and Forensic Consultant for Patton by Sarla Gnanamuthu, MD (PSH Medical Director). I was charged with leading not only Patton but also the entire California Department of Mental Health to substantial compliance in forensics when California was executing the Consent Judgment under the supervision of the Department of Justice (DOJ). I employed the various skills I acquired during training and in the community to improve the quality of forensic work in the State significantly within one year. Because of this accomplishment, I received public recognition in 2007 (The State of California Superior Accomplishment Award) from Stephen W. Mayberg, PhD, who was the Director of the California State Department of Mental Health from 1993 through 2011. In 2008, I was officially promoted to Senior Psychiatrist Supervisor in the Department of Mental Health.
