      Intern position at a Collins Aerospace facility, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation. Primarily working within an R&D team on a catalytic reactor involving a fuel inerting system. Secondary responsibilities included computational stress analysis, investigative work processing test data and supporting the department as required.Key skills leveraged:• Presentation of work internally and externally and communicating ideas effectively• Importance of punctuality, meeting room etiquette, hosting/meeting visitors etc.• Advancement of CAE abilities and IT literacy (specifically Ansys Workbench, excel and VBA)• Creation and interpretation of technical documents and report writing• Familiarity of industry standards and specifications• Appreciation of good practices (5S, Relentless Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping etc.) Show less
