      Doctor of Philosophy - PhD Astronomy

      Using JWST observations, I study molecules in the atmosphere of red giant stars. I use Python for data reduction and model development, enabling accurate analysis and interpretation of observed data.

      Activities and Societies: Representative on the Graduate Council of the department and Institute for Earth and Space Exploration. Research: I studied molecules in clouds of gas and dust between the stars. The molecules in there absorb the starlight, causing distinct absorption signals. We are not yet sure which exact molecules cause those signals and my research narrows down the list of possible molecules until we find an exact match.
