      Research Assistant

      Through an intensive 8-week program called LINX/INSPiRE CS, I was able to do research in both the Human-Computer Interaction Lab (HCI) and Virtual Human Interaction Lab (VHIL). During these 8 weeks, I was researching how we might use AR and VR to facilitate project-based, culturally responsive learning experiences. I conducted interviews, transcribed and analyzed data, and presented my findings in front of faculty who work in the CS department and companies such as, GSK. I'm also working on an ongoing second project that has to do with designing a collaborative, physically-enacted AR/VR experience to teach computational learning. Throughout this entire process, I have been advised by Cyan DeVeaux, James Landay, and Jeremy Bailenson. Show less
