  • Responsible for Installation, precommissioning & commissioning as well as maintenance of top side and hull side drilling package on drillship, jack up and semi-submersible oil drilling rig/production Platform modules at HHI, DSME and SHI shipyards at South Korea on NOBLE ,TRANSOCEAN,STENA,SEADRILL rigs.• Startup/pre-Commissioning and commissioning of PLC controlled and hydraulic powered drilling equipment and interface it with central SCADA based cyberbase system.• Installation, troubleshooting, precommissioning & commissioning and routine preventive and breakdown maintenance of various sensors and control valves, ESD valves, AC/DC Drives, SMART sensors, High voltage transformers etc.• Installation &Troubleshooting of widely spread fiber optic based Siemens PLC and GE IFix based scada system. Interface of cross platform plc-scada ( NOV to Kongsberg)using OPC.• Startup/Commissioning activity and preventive maintenance of anti-collision system/MMC to avoid collision of all dynamic rotating equipment.• Preparation, validation of technical quires in loop diagrams, instrumentation index, I/O schedule, JB wiring diagrams, P&ID and system interconnection diagrams.• Installation, commissioning and testing of various drilling equipment like top drive, hydraracker, mud pump , pipe handling catwalk, riser carwalk, iron roughneck/hydrating, SSGD/ AHC drawwork ,mud skid etc. and general instruments like hydraulic power units (HPU), mud separation skid, HVAC, CCTV , ESD etc. • Prepare & maintained schedule to perform routine maintenance of rig.• Documentation work: FAT, SAT and prepare/modify precomm, commissioning procedure, after commissioning work, kickoff meeting with client, LOTO etc.• Support these activity during construction stage also in shipyard, during sea trial and during sea integration test by following DNV or ABS based classification Rules with high priority on Safe execution and delivery schedules.
