The company owners sought advice from me for market analysis, strategic direction, financial control, top-management assessment, crisis management, due diligence for investment projects, and guidance in mergers and acquisitions. My efforts fighting fraud and corruption combined with workforce reductions facilitated by optimizing business processes replaced a prior-year multimillion-dollar loss with a profit five times as large achieved in the face of falling revenues.   I have a special capability for moving organizations into more productive and profitable places where people of all cultures, ethnic origins, and social orientation enjoy working. In one instance, I led a three-year program of cultural transformation that lowered staff turnover almost 70% to 40% of the industry average. In each year, we also exceeded financial transformation targets of international business consultants.These efforts were acknowledged with multiple awards including Most Attractive Employer in the Ukraine Media Industry, Top 25 Best Ukraine Employer, HR Brand 2020 for Project Women Empowerment Principles, LGBTQ+ Friendly Media of the Year 2021, and the UN Population Fund’s number-one ranking as Ukraine’s most family-friendly company.Teaming internal managers and globally recognized consultants to identify business purpose, values, and strategy as the foundation for sustainability development goals, particularly in the area of gender equality, resulted in a 20% EBITDA boost and reversed the cash flow margin from negative to positive. This program was also honoured with the Top 25 Leaders of Sustainable Development and the UN Global Compact’s Partnership for Societal Sustainability Ukraine awards.My involvement stretched across all areas of the business. I changed sales strategy, upgraded business processes by incorporating digital and AI resources, centralized administrative functions, liquidated several non-core businesses, and reduced the workforce 60% working side by side with the most talented professionals in the group. By expanding the responsibilities of the group managing our TV channels to directing all broadcasting and production, we optimized operational spending and generated significant savings. Show less
