  I started as a Marketing Administrator on a 12 month fixed term contract and within 6 months was offered a full-time contract to continue supporting IAPT Services in North Essex. The role continued to develop and during this time the areas that I provided support to changed to cover Hertfordshire and Mid Essex. This provided me with the opportunity to work collaboratively with staff from a variety of internal teams and to build relationships with external stakeholders across two counties. The role continued to develop and demand for support required us to look closely at additional support and I was provided with the unique opportunity to develop a new team of dedicated professionals tasked with improving access to the service. As part of this development I was able to step up to a management role as a next key step in my career journey. Show less

  Communications and marketing manager (iapt services)

  In my current role I lead on all communication and marketing activities to improve access to primary care psychological therapy services. I act as the first point of call for IAPT teams across Hertfordshire and Essex, providing specialist communication, marketing and media advice and expertise to senior managers, staff and external stakeholders to ensure all activities and methods are appropriate and effective.I have developed the IAPT Communication and Marketing team over 6 years, starting as a Communication and Marketing Administrator, and now managing a team of four professionals focusing on delivering a large variety of communication and marketing priorities to support the service to meet KPIs. This includes management of digital platforms to deliver a high quality user experience through advanced web design and direct interactions via social media platforms.In addition to leading on external communications, I also support a variety of internal activities including the production and distribution of a fortnightly newsletter for staff, supporting staff wellbeing and organising the ‘IAPT Showcasing Excellence Conference’.
