  I supported and assisted Senior House officers, specialist registrars and maxillo-facial consultants during intra and extra oral procedures, scrubbed and in a theatre environment. The procedure included removal teeth, Minor oral surgery and more extensively, the removal of Basal cell carcinoma's. I supported and assisted a multi-disciplinary team of surgeons, specialist dentists, orthodontists, radiographers, medical staff, photographers and laboratory technicians. I was also trained to support patients, families and Macmillan nurses. I was trained to assist, and monitor patients under IV and inhalation sedation whilst working towards my national qualification in dental sedation. I worked as a Treatment Coordinator 3 days a week where i supported the dentists and patients by discussing treatment plans, informed choices, consent and payment plans. I also gained my level 3 diploma in treatment coordination.
