This accreditation sets recoveriescorp as a leader in our industry and will provide confidence to our clients regarding the security of their information. The path towards this accreditation has required both hard work and consultative approach to ensure the business allocated the required resources to prepare for this audit. A lot of people contributed to achieving a successful outcome, but one person stands out for their effort and dedication to the task. This person managed this high profile with distinction and attention to detail that ensured we fulfilled the requirements of a complex and far reaching standard. As an example, the Statement of Applicability required approximately 150 Control Objectives to be established to protect our information assets. Each control objected detailed the Policy governing this Objective, the Procedure to be followed, the Control Owner and finally suitable documentation to demonstrate ongoing proof of compliance to the auditor. Many new policies were developed, existing policies reviewed and all were reformatted in line with current documented format and version control. To ensure buy-in from all participants, this person worked hard to make it as easy as possible for each business unit to complete their tasks with minimal effort. Spreadsheets with drop down boxes, were developed and tasks filtered by process owner. Information packs were also prepared to provide background guidance to the teams completing their tasks. Like a sergeant major managing their parade ground, there was regular follow up with status updates and gentle encouragement of those meeting deadlines. It is without hesitation that I recommend Jinny Chua as Employee of the Month for November."
