      Achieved a MS degree in Engineering with emphasis on Electronics. My thesis was creating an analog control feedback system using digital logic by programming in a Xilinx FPGA using VHDL. I proved the system on an optical platform to measure atmospheric elemental wavelengths, well within the percent error limits.

      At LaRC, I am the Technical Authority for Quality Engineering, includes (but is not limited to) writing Statements of Work on contracts and technical leadership in the development of Langley Procedural Requirements; also, I manage the internal AS9100 audit program, the NASA workmanship training program, and the ESD program. I am also a Mission Assurance Manager for Langley projects. For the Agency; I am the POC for ESD, I am Langley's rep on the NASA workmanship standards working group, the Quality Assurance working group, the Materials working group, the PWB working group, and technical contributor to the EEE Parts working group.       6 month detail to the NSC. I developed training programs for engineers and for technicians. As the TDTL I developed the scenario for the Quality Engineering curriculum in STEP for for the first QE Level 4 candidate. I worked with other agencies and their training programs, including the Missile Defense Agency. Other duties included hosting QE-related webinars, interfacing with industry through the CQSDI and QLF forums, updating the STEP curriculum, and working with any learner on their STEP progress.
