  •Envision, manage, and implement development and alumni relations events that reflect the Law School's mission while building relationships within the University and beyond. •Organize logistics for over 100 events and programs that generate, maintain, and improve support for development, alumni relations and stewardship activities of the Law School. •Execute ceremonial and academic activities, reunions, donor and alumni relation events, student functions and other special events for small to large audiences. •Oversee venue selection, contract negotiation, food and beverage selections, transportation, audio/visual service, entertainment, photography and mementos for events and programs.•Prepare and collaborate on event materials which include invitations, registration and website information, guest list management, event confirmations, direct mailings, reports, briefing materials and post-event surveys.•Coordinate on-site management while representing the Law School including event setup, coordination of vendors, greeting guests, facilitating program with cues to all vendors and speakers, trouble-shooting last minute needs, serving as the functional supervisor for on-site events staff and thanking guests as they depart.• Manage an annual event budget which supports events for alumni engagement, annual fund, reunions, major giving, and stewardship.•Serve as liaison with faculty, alumni, donors, staff and vendors as related to events and programs.•Manage the worldwide Michigan Law Alumni & Friends Service Day which includes overseeing team leaders and volunteers in up to 16 cities.
