The Global Studies Programme (GSP) is a research oriented graduate programme that focuses on twenty-first century globalization and alternative futures. The main idea is to conduct research on “Twenty-first century globalization and alternative futures”. It is conducted jointly by Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Chulalongkorn University (Bangkok), Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi), the University of Pretoria and FLACSO Argentina (Buenos Aires).The Master programme comprises two years of studies on three continents.Learning how to approach the world and globalization from various regional perspectives by engaging in research within very different academic and cultural environments. Here my studies were focused on chinese history and culture which allowed me to have a more holistic understanding of the chinese society as well as the Chinese economic an political matters.
