  I became interested in buildings and sustainability while at Chaminade. I was able to coordinate with our school's project manager on a proposed new exterior facade for the school Physical Fitness Center (PFC). In working with him, I was able to intern at Mark's Design Studios for a few months, learning technical terminology, design processes, and 3D software programs like SketchUp. Unfortunately, due to the global pandemic, the plans never came to fruition.

  With a few high school friends, I co-founded a 501-C non-profit to be the mediator that brings together high school tutors as volunteers for under privileged children whose education fell behind during the Covid-19 pandemic. I have designed our website, connected to local schools, and coordinated with parents and families to ensure the next generation of students have educational resources to learn to the best of their ability. Papilio operated in Long Island, New York and South Bend Indiana with roughly 50 students and tutors in the program. Show less

  Sports Summer Camp Counselor

  During my time as a Piping Rock camp counselor, I worked with kids from the ages of 4-14 for 7 weeks over two consecutive summers. Together with my fellow counselors, I coordinated to develop creative, enjoyable, and friendship-building activities for age groups of 4-14. While the campers had tennis, golf, and swimming activities, I assured their safety, well-being, and fun by submitting camper lunch orders, balancing bus transitions, and managing arrival and dismissal processes.

  Video Editor

  Video editing has been a passion since I first got my GoPro and MacBook in sixth grade. At Chaminade, I was heavily involved in Element Film Club where I taught myself Premiere Pro and Blender as I worked on various sports videos for each season. Now in college with Fighting Irish Media, I capture promotional videos and photo shoots for 4 start football recruits to help our school's top 10 national program, edit hype videos for both our nationally ranked hockey and lacrosse programs, and prepare live event shorts for our basketball arena's Jumbotron.   During my role as assistant treasure for the themed entertainment club, I managing budgets, reimbursements, and other transactions. Our club made numerous large trips to Florida's International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) conference, Ohio State's Student's In Themed Entertainment (SITE) meeting, and various local theme parks. These trips required extensive coordination of funds that allowed me to learn how to properly manage, balance, and allocate our club's resources.

  International Intern

  I worked with the Yaskawa Corporation and Phd students from the Kyushu Institute of Technology to optimize the path of a semiconductor wafer handling, passive grip end effector (EE) according to velocity, acceleration, boundary wall constraints in the horizontal plane. Specifically, I managed the visual animation of the EE movement, which generated an mp4 file using Matlab, and acted as the sole translator between the Japanese and English speaking members of our team. The animation featured subplots of velocity and acceleration in the x and y direction and a vector displaying the EE acceleration that both changed according to the time stamp of the motion.   I worked to oversee laborers, organize subcontractor schedules, and order necessary materials to install new elevators on an elevated subway platform in a project worth $240 million dollars. Other responsibilities included accounting employee work hours, submitting daily quality reports, and forming engineering drawings from project specifications.

  In this role, I worked as a brand ambassador for the new "The 87" apartments being built along the eastern side of Notre Dame's campus. Shooting promotional videos and acting as the interviewer for The 87's monthly trivia series, I worked to help grow the Toll Brothers brand in their new South Bend venture as part of their 12 billion dollar company.
