These are highly integrated multi-specialty outpatient health centers with a matrix reporting structure. Facilities include Hospital Outpatient Departments such as Outpatient Surgery Centers, Medical Imaging, Physical Therapy, and Sleep Centers, as well as an array of both employed and affiliated medical specialties and Urgent Care Centers. These community-based facilities provide convenient access and a one-stop-shop ambulatory setting for patients to receive care in their communities. Combined, the facilities generated over 19k hospital outpatient department (HOD) visits and 40k office visits monthly; with about 950 FTE’s.Accomplishments:● Operational leader through the construction, go live, and ongoing operations of two new health park projects totaling 152,000 SF and $58M capital investment resulting in first-year projected volumes of 59K net new visits to the organization● Operationalized a new multidisciplinary ambulatory surgery center with three licensed OR suites, three procedure rooms, and 15 pre and post-rooms. A $21.5M project with projected net new volumes of 4,145 cases in year five (2.8% cannibalization)● $2.1M expansion to one of the busiest Urgent Care Centers in the state of GA increasing visits by 13.4% over prior year and improving door-to-door times by 18 minutes● Implemented an affiliated surgeon recruitment plan for the Acworth Surgery Center's primary and secondary markets.
