  Payment Entry UI. Intranet Application, built with MVC3/JQuery, bootstrap SQL2008, EnitityFramework 5, Unity. This is an internal application used to control a workflow for creating/authorising payments to be injected into the payments platform for processing via faster payments or CHAPS. The UI was developed rapidly as a prototype to be sampled/refined by business users. The application has been built using TDD.7 Day Account Switching Service. Nationwide along with 17 other large banks and building societies have recently completed a project with the payments council, to enable customers to switch accounts from one organisation to another within 7 days, transferring account, balance, standing orders, direct debits and other payment mandates via a fully automated system. I was invited to return to Nationwide and join this project, which was under immense pressure to deliver to a very aggressive time scale. The role involved collaboration with Microsoft consultancy services to produce an Administration UI written in MVC to integrate with WCF services provided by Microsoft. Geoff created the solution architecture enabling him and a small team of developers to build a complex UI by the required deadline. Show less
