      Import (2001-2005):- Make sure the import clearance can be finished during free demurrage time.- Handling the clearance for shipment by sea (FCL/LCL), air, and post/courier company.- Preparing pre shipment docs including recommendation/permit license from govt institutions- Ensuring the docs were CCC (clean, clear, complete) before the shipment was started.- During handling import jobs, 75% were cleared during free demurrage detention period, and 25% were cleared within 3 (three) days after free dem/det period.- Make sure the warehouse was ready to accept incoming cargo. When necessary, by renting additional warehouse space or asking for longer detention time from companies.- The technical scopes were handled by 3rd party-which is usually forwarders-and make close monitor on it.- Empowering negotiation skills to get cheaper freight rates, simpler process, and more effective works.Export (2001-2013):- Find out the process of unique and rare docs-such as Nuclear certificates-before hand it over to a successor.- Preparing all docs necessary, train it to the team and/or forwarder, maintain the correctness, all to ensure the docs had been issued properly.- Successfully run the export from Cikarang Plant (since 2001), Bandung (since 2005), and Karawang (since 2010).- Scan L/C terms and conditions based on ICC latest UCP. Go ahead with the shipment when ensured none of the terms and conditions cannot be met.- Assisting other internal department e.g. marketing, production planning, finance, warehouse, and IT as long as the request relates to import and/or export.- Keep updates when the export import regulation was rapidly changed.
