  R&D Project Manager

  Currently working as an R&D Project Manager in Eni’s Research & Development department, within the "Hydrogen, Derived Fuels & New Downstream" cluster. My role focuses on the development and evaluation of the entire hydrogen value chain from both a technical and economic perspective, covering production technologies, transport and storage solutions, and the application of hydrogen in its pure form or as derivatives.Key Responsibilities and Activities:- Management of R&D projects focused on low-carbon hydrogen production and industrial bio-waste valorization, in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano and industrial partners. I oversee the technical and economic aspects of the project, coordinating internal and external teams to develop and validate processes with potential applications in existing industrial sites.- Participation in working tables on hydrogen-related topics, including production technologies, European regulatory frameworks, and economic supply chain analysis.- Collaboration with international start-ups from Europe and the United States to develop innovative technologies with practical applications at Eni’s industrial sites.- Conducting technical due diligence activity on companies in the Industrial Transformation Sector, assessing their potential to introduce competitive technologies for hydrogen (renewable or biological) and synthetic fuel (RFNBOs) production.- Identification of technological needs for Eni’s Industrial Transformation division and proposal of new R&D projects to address these challenges.
