  Mixing, Recording, and Mastering Engineer

  Record, mix and master material from clients and collaborators in a variety of genres and environments, specializing in contemporary rock and classical. DAWs utilized for recording, mixing, and mastering include Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and Reaper. ProTools is my primary DAW. I have experience recording and mixing with SSL consoles (particularly the AWS924S) and the patch bay networks necessary for full studio integration.   Capture, stream, and mix student and staff performances, recitals, and masterclasses. Recording environments vary from concert hall to studio to classroom. Install and troubleshoot studio equipment, engineer and assist with recording sessions, as well as handle the cleaning and maintenance of studio spaces. Projects recorded have been included in the University of Toronto New Music Festival. Informed students on studio usage procedures, assisted with the technical planning of recording sessions for class projects or performances, and worked on-call with students to troubleshoot studio tech. Contributed to the research into and compilation of data on the rhythmic similarities, consistencies, and variations of electronic music composed during the 1970s-90s, working under the direction of Dr. Eliot Britton in association with Aiyun Huang.
