  As a part of the international joint class on the subject of Disaster-Resistant and Building Strengthening with Prefectural University of Kumamoto, the result is a research paper comparing five disaster museums in Japan and Indonesia. It discovers that Japanese museum employs physical activities and Indonesian museum employs display of artifacts as a key strategy to engage the viewers. This cross-case comparison is very useful in a few ways: The design of exhibits, sharing survivor’s stories and community engagement are all methods that museum can learn from, for future planning and disaster. My primary focus was on managing on-site tasks, sourcing materials, and coordinating their procurement to ensure the project ran smoothly and stayed on schedule.
