Part of an amazing group of sales, production & programming individuals, many who have gone on to become leaders in their field; we went up against the dominant state broadcaster RTE and in many cases won! Personally I sold the sponsorship of the top 3 shows: The Eamon Dunphy Breakfast Show to Bank of Ireland, The George Hook Show to Hibernian and Off the Ball to Gillette Show less

      As a side hustle I worked with the amazing team at Low Pressure publishers as a way into the surf industry. They publish the Stormriders Surf Guide, what are considered 'The Bibles' for surfers worldwide. It set the seeds for the founding of Surfholidays.com. I was responsible for generating revenue from surf shops, surf schools and surf camps around the world to get them to advertise in the books. It gave me my first taste of dealing with people in many different countries.

A privilege to be involved in what was one of the most exciting project in Television and media in the 00's, working with some of the most talented people in the industry. I built the sales department from the initial business plan strategy through to the hiring of the first team members, setting up all sales processes, targets, and commission structure. We won and lost many battles as a start-up taking on the big advertising agencies in Ireland and the UK!I was most proud of the Sponsorship division, generating revenue through innovative collaborations with some the biggest brands operating in Ireland and the UK including Paddy Power, Baileys, Tiger Beer, Miller, Pepsi and Gillette.Channel 6 was aquired by Virgin Media in 2008 Show less

      Surfholidays.com is a global surf travel marketplace where you can book surf & stay experiences throughout the world’s best surf towns.In 2008 I embraced massive change in my career to set up an online eCommerce Surf Experience marketplace, pioneering an entire new online travel sector that never existed previously. My goal was to share the amazing experience of surfing with the world through easy to use, beautifully designed tech products that make it easier to book a surf trip.10 years on we are the number 1 surf travel marketplace in Europe, with over 1,300 surf camps in 120 surf towns globally (30% of the entire world’s total surf camps, from Iceland to Fiji to Madagascar!).We created 2 key tech products do drive sales for our partner surf camps...a global marketplace and an online booking system.Strong believer in sustainability and giving back; we partnered with Wave project and Surfers Not Street Children.
