  For MTS, as a Creative Developer, I worked on multiple projects/tasks at once while managing a small group of creative developers. I designed user interfaces for web and mobile applications (iOS & Android) from concept, development, testing and delivery. As the principal web designer I leveraged best practices in website navigation, browsers, mobile patterns, information architecture and usability. I was also in charge of print design, maintained house branding, marketing materials and presentations, edit code on WordPress sites to create a design to meet the client's needs, client communications, email, phone calls, meetings and travel for out of state to work on-site in special projects.   My path at USAA began as a contract to hire designer, creating marketing collateral for its USAA LABS department. While at USAA LABS, I went on to leading MVP projects as a UX/UI designer. Working in LABS provided me with a great opportunity to showcase my advanced understanding of new technologies and best practices in website navigation, browsers, mobile patterns, information architecture and usability. As part of the innovation team, I was able to flex my knowledge of the innovation process by participating and winning several hackathon competitions. Show less

  I am currently working on the USAA SafePilot app leveraging Telematics. As a user experience designer, with extensive experience designing and supporting digital products inside an Agile environment, my passion lies in crafting intuitive and engaging digital experiences that delight users and drive business success. With a strong foundation in user-centered design principles, design research and a keen eye for aesthetics, I specialize in translating complex user needs into simple, elegant solutions and I am able to take qualitative and quantitative feedback for rapid and iterative prototyping. Through my diverse experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting user research, and leveraging data-driven insights, I have consistently delivered, and presented to, Senior/ Executive leaders, impactful designs that enhance usability and increase member satisfaction of the SafePilot app. Show less
