      As an individual contributor, in an international organization, I managed product sales staff, account managers, business development and delivery teams in the creation of winning sales strategies and proposals. Using my skills as an effective facilitator, I positively challenged these teams to focus its efforts in developing and implementing effective, issue-driven sales strategies for wireless, wireline and cable operators along with government, media and internet customers in USA and Canada, including: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, MCI, Cox, Comcast, Globalstar, Terrestar, Turner, Google, Boeing, DoD and Rogers AT&T in Canada. • Awarded Presidential Eagle Award for 21% growth in profitability.• Achieved Bid Response Quality KPI of 53% (team average 40%) – based on surveys of account management and sales teams.• Increased team productivity through a focused effort to develop proposal library. Show less In this role, I was a member of Ericsson’s Key Account team, focused on its #1 customer, Cingular (AT&T). This customer was key to Ericsson’s wireless sales success in North America and required a focused and consistent diligence to ensure continuous customer satsifaction. I worked very closely with this account team’s sales and operations steering groups, product sales, customer support operations and project managers while also managing C-Level relationships with the customer’s corporate network operations and VP/Director-Level relationships with Cingular NE, SE and Gulf States regions. Show less In this role, I joined a newly formed services portfolio management team as its first customer support/maintenance services portfolio manager. My immediate challenge was the commercialization of services that where normally included in the purchase of the product. I overcame this challenge by developing and promoting support/maintenance services to our customers, in close cooperation with sales and delivery teams. After achieving this success, I was assigned special projects to help coordinate business development and sales support to Latin American accounts, as well as promote the development and commercialization of new types of services such as systems integration and managed operations/services.• Grew sales 40% in North America.• Grew sales 25% in Latin America. Show less After completing the initial development and deployment of Ericsson’s Global Problem Management System (GPMS), while at the GRC, I accepted the role as product manager for this system, joining an established customer support tools IT group in Sweden. I was immediately challenged with managing customer requirements, IT software supplier relationships, product development teams/budgets and operations teams across the world. I traveled extensively and in coordination with all these stakeholders developed product releases and operational processes that achieved zero down-time due to product defects. Show less Building on my success as a technical trainer/SME for software troubleshooting, I joined the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of Ericsson’s North America Technical Assistance Center (TAC). I rose to the challenge and provided emergency, maintenance, retrofit and technical support services to wireless and wireline telecom operators in North America. As my expertise grew, I was assigned to work in design centers in other countries to troubleshoot and develop solutions for product defects. Within a few years, I was recognized for my ability to lead technical solutions teams and was assigned to Ericsson’s Global Response Center (GRC) where I provided support to over 35 countries, while simultaneously acting as project manager to lead the development and global implementation of IT, processes and procedures for deployment and operation of the telecom industry’s first follow-the-sun support service.
