  I started my insurance career in Long Beach, MS after moving there from Georgia. I enjoyed helping the locals and the military with their insurance needs. It was a very rewarding experience and also very heartbreaking after Katrina hit the coast on the 29th of August in 2005. I experienced the loss of a place to live along with everything that my husband and I owned. It was very surreal and humbling. It was a very challenging period after Katrina hit and Allstate would not allow us to write Homeowners for almost a year only cars and other needs. Customer Service is vital in this career and at times it was a challenge; however, I feel that I am better for this experience. Show less
