  I organise and run the women's trainings each week to prepare the Women's Team for Regionals and Nationals. As captain I Identify the strengths and weaknesses in each individual and work with them to improve on each of their weaknesses. I have utilised forms where the players are able to express their thoughts & ideas as well as their goals that they hope to achieve for the year. Each year, we receive a number of freshers, so alongside the developmental coach, I am in charge of developing the new players. As this year is unprecedented for everyone, I had to improvise on the style of training and utilised online platforms for zoom workouts. I also utilised this as an opportunity to watch and analyse games with the teams, which we would not have had the time to do under normal circumstances. This is a hard year for team sports, but it is my responsibility to motivate and bring the spirits of the team up despite the circumstances. Show less

  - Enthusiastically shadowed 5 elite doctors and surgeons in diagnosing and consulting patients with neurological and orthopaedic disorders using imaging facilities such as MRI and IDXA Scans and advanced neurodiagnostic equipment such as electroencephalography (EEG) with video telemetry, evoked response studies, nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyography (EMG) and ambulatory polysomnography (sleep study).- Learnt to observe and identify abnormalities in MRI scans, blood test results, PET scans, IDXA scan and X-ray scans. Familiarised with medical devices function and the different procedures taken to produce different kinds of scans – using dye to enhance different blood vessels in an MRI image. - Participated in difficult discussions on the methodology of treatment, medicine and procedure that is most suitable for patient depending on their circumstances and condition.- It was an eye opening experience where I got to witness real life clinical applications of the knowledge that I acquired at University. It gave me insights into how medical industry and it gave me motivation & clarity on how the system could be greatly improve. Show less
