  After working for the Intramural Sports Program at Cal Poly for 10 months, I applied, interviewed, and was selected for the Student Manager Position for the Program. This is the senior most student position in the program. Immediately upon being hired, I was responsible for serving on the hiring committee and then training 7 new Intramural Sport Supervisors. I directly oversaw a staff of 11 Sport Supervisors who were responsible for 80+ Intramural Sports Officials. The most important role of my position was ultimately being responsible for the provision of an inclusive, welcoming, and safe atmosphere where all members of the Cal Poly Recreation Center could come participate in intramural sports. Beyond my managerial duties and in conjunction with my direct Supervisor, I was also responsible for deciding quarterly Sports Offerings for an average of 5,000 participants, scheduling leagues, and spearheading communication with the team Managers of over 400 intramural sports teams.
