  Internship Hybrid CFRP rims

  Testing and improving of the 10" Carbon fiber reinforced plastic Hybrid rims for a formula student car.The year I did my internship a new car was build including aerodynamic devices. The wheels had never been on the car before and therefor a test had to be done to ensure that the wheels could withstand the load-cases of the new car.The result was a test on the car where the wheels performed really well. Unfortunately, due to leakage of one of the rims, the rims haven't been on the car during the race. Show less
