      Freshman Research Initiative - Plant Pathways:Studied the regulation of certain epidermal traits in Arabidopsis thaliana through genetic engineering. Mentored incoming freshman on basic laboratory principles and techniques while guiding them in their individual research projects.Collaborating with the Browning Lab in discovering the functional differences in different isoforms of translational eukaryotic initiation factors (eIFs) through genetic manipulation.

Presented abstract to Harvard Medical School Faculty and at the NIDDK KUH National Symposium at UVA: Expression of SRD5A2 Correlates with Prostate Volume.
