  I moved to Shropshire for family reasons and became the head of both the Shrewsbury and Ludlow offices at Lane Fox. I sold houses and estates in Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. I began as a property Sales Assistant at the Lane Fox Banbury office where I qualified as a member of the RICS. I then moved to the London Country House Department as a Negotiator. In 1994 I was made the youngest Director of Lane Fox and took over running the Baskingstoke office, dealing with Lettings and Sales of properties in Hampshire.

  Senior Director in the Country Department, which is based in London, where we are responsible for country house sales across the UK, both publicly and privately. In October 2017, Strutt & Parker and BNP Paribas Real Estate merged to offer a broad set of services to clients throughout the real estate lifecycle, across every type of asset in commercial, residential and rural. Strutt & Parker’s residential, rural, development and planning teams continue to operate under the Strutt & Parker brand, whilst the commercial arm of the business operates under the BNP Paribas Real Estate brand. Strutt & Parker LLP bought Lane Fox in 2008 and I became Regional Chairman of the North and West looking after 19 offices from Inverness to Scotland, combining property Sales with the Rural, Farming and Planning departments, where I was involved in professional valuation work and taxation advice.
