  Mr. Tyner is the former President/CSO of KD Conservatory, a subsidiary of KD Studio, Inc. and a Nationally Accredited College, offering an Associate of Applied Arts Degree in Motion Picture Production, Acting, and Musical Theatre. Mr. Tyner is currently the President of the Governing Board of KD Conservatory. Raised in the Dallas area, Mr. Tyner has had the opportunity during his career to gain multidisciplinary experience in the fashion, film, and television markets.Mr. Tyner has been active in the career school sector of education for more than 25 years and has served on numerous boards and committees at the municipal, state, and national levels. Mr. Tyner served two terms as Chairman of the Board for Career Colleges and Schools of Texas (CCST) based in Austin, TX and previously served two consecutive terms on the Board of Directors. As chairman, Mr. Tyner represented CCST in Washington D.C. regarding the state of the industry, the strategic changes occurring, and the resulting impact on the association on a national level. CCST provides resources on regulatory and legislative matters and knowledge about pivotal issues and opportunities within the sector.Mr. Tyner also served as Chairman of the Legislative Committee where he worked to close the gap between legislators, regulators, and the sector in both the Texas House and Senate. Mr. Tyner helped to co-author and pass legislation to improve the sector in order to protect consumers. He also served as Chairman of the membership, and conference committees for CCST. Mr. Tyner negotiated and executed the first signed articulation agreement in Texas between a career school and a University allowing students to transfer all credits earned to the University under the agreement. Mr. Tyner is the President of the Board of Directors for the Trinity River Arts Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, whose mission is to expose at-risk youth to the arts. He also serves on the advisory board of the Lone Star Film Society. Show less As VP of Operations, the goal was to provide effective leadership and direction to all elements of 2 college campuses. Mr. Tyner managed over 100 faculty and staff members with oversight of Programs and Program Chairs. In addition, responsibilities included reviewing academic programs, conducting faculty evaluations, implementing policies and procedures, and representing the company legislatively at the State and National Levels. Mr. Tyner was in charge of fiscal accountability in the development and management of budgets. In addition to overseeing expenditures according to annual spending plans, he performed budget revisions and prepared budget reports.Mr. Tyner ensured implementation of accreditation procedures and policies by reviewing educational related issues pertaining to regulatory standards. He effectively resolved conflicts, mediated solutions, and dismissed when necessary. He led all aspects of client relations and sales lead generation. He built effective strategies for outside recruiters, while managing 2 local and national sales teams. In addition, Mr. Tyner played an integral role in building synergy with employees through stewardship. During his tenure, he managed and developed social media campaigns through search engine optimization. Mr. Tyner monitored and developed many aspects of advertising through web, television, radio, and billboard media.
