  My task is to coordinate the delivery of Hampshire County Council support to market towns and villages across Hampshire, disseminating best practice in terms of their roles as active 'hubs' for local communities and businesses, and to support the Regeneration team in all matters related to rural development. In doing this, I act as the Economic Development 'Champion' for the economy in rural Hampshire, developing and maintaining effective relationships with key partner organisations, including management of a grant scheme to support rural shops.
