  Managed a team of my peers in the daily operation of the Georgia Tech Aquatics center. The site consisted of three pools and was staffed by up to 11 guards. Our responsibilities included monitoring and responding to the safety concerns of the people using our facility, acting as a customer service representative and the daily maintenance of the pools.

Worked in the field with a largely agreement workforce managing projects at a large Atlanta area hospital. projects ranged from small maintenance tasks to the addition of an MRI unit that included new construction and renovation in an operating hospital.

  Managed two non-agreement supervisors and a team of agreement employees in the day to day inspection and maintenance of the largest flat switching terminal on the Norfolk Southern system. Worked closely with field managers to identify emerging issues, analyzing underlying problems, develop and implement solutions. Developed training content in compliance with federal, state and corporate regulations. Managed professional and technical development of management trainees. Provided technical training to both agreement and non-agreement personal in both field and classroom environments. Managed an agreement workforce in the daily inspection and maintenance of 112 miles of Mainline freight railroad in western New York. Created and fostered an environment of respectful accountability that allowed our workforce to go injury free during my tenure. Worked to advance interdepartmental communication in order to promote a more efficient workplace. Managed day to day maintenance of way operations in various territories on the Alabama division. Coordinated engineering department responses to natural disasters and emergency situations.
