This research aims to understand the relationship of duality between Painting and Architecture, in an affinity of relations that put the two arts in parallel, in which drawing emerges as a work tool.Although painting has been present throughout the history of architecture, as can be seen in the work of Alberti and Brunelleschi, with the advance of industrialization and technology, a consequence of the Industrial Revolution, the creative relationship between these two arts has lost vitality. The work of Nadir Afonso appears as the object of study, as it presents a multi-faceted artist, as an architect, painter, theoretician and researcher, an artist who due to his interest in geometry developed a scientific art.
