  I worked at the Preston Marriott Hotel as a commis chef whilst I was studying for my A-Levels.I have always had a very strong work ethic and have worked in some capacity from being 12 years of age but this somehow seemed to be my first "proper job."This position taught me the values of good teamwork and respect and it was on the back of some good advice here that I went on to become the man I am today.

  I joined Whitehead and Aldrich as an articled clerk in August 2002 after leaving sixth form college with 4 A-Levels.I successfully qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006 after passing all my AAT and ICAEW exams first time.During my training contract I gained a wide range of experience by working with most of the firm's clients from small sole traders to large corporations across various industries and professions.After completing my ICAEW exams, I went on to further studies in the field on taxation and was proud to qualify as a Chartered Tax Adviser at 24.I stayed at W&A for another 4 years during which time I worked with their larger clients assisting them with all their accounting and taxation needs.
