  As part of a dynamic team, I was responsible for sales, stock control, customer service and financial management within a busy retail environment. These activities allowed me to gain experience in inventory management, delivery under pressure and in managing customer expectations, as well as in handling and processing large sums of money. Carried out experimental procedures to investigate various organically derived catalysts when used in microbial fuel cells. The results obtained were compared against a standard platinum cell and control. There is likely to be further work undertaken on this topic in the near future, and publication is likely in the near future.

  Western Europe Productivity Project Technician

  Working as part of the European R&D team, I had significant responsibility to deliver Production Efficiency and Value Engineering projects for application across Western Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. I was the R&D lead for several significant projects, which will deliver substantial savings for the business following rollout, and worked with partners across the globe to reduce manufacturing costs without impacting consumer experience. As an active member of the site Safety Team, I helped ensure that all areas of the site were safety compliant, by carrying out Risk Assessments and Plant inspections and writing Safe Working Practices.
