  In this role, I supported the CAS’s long-term vision and strategic plan around the education and admissions functions. I contributed to the organization’s ongoing efforts to deliver value to the casualty actuarial profession by working with executive leadership, volunteer members and CAS staff to advise on all aspects of the CAS basic education system to ensure that current and future CAS examinations meet the needs of candidates and their employers.During my time at the CAS, considerable energy was spent on transitioning our examination program into a CBT environment in partnership with Pearson VUE and also supporting our volunteer leaders in the transition to a more efficient examination grading process.   Leadership role working across the enterprise to ensure that Travelers’ carried reserves are reasonable. Lead community engagement efforts for the more than 500 employees of the Travelers’ actuarial & analytics community. - Reserve oversight responsibilities including support of reporting & controls for the 10Q & 10K- Produce portions of the Statement of Actuarial Opinion for the following reserve segments: Management Liability & Surety, Asbestos & Environmental, Salvage & Subrogation- Actively manage close working relationships with business actuaries as well as corporate finance partners- Serve as Chief of Staff for Traveler’s Actuarial Leadership team; Responsible for project management, execution of strategic priorities, facilitation of monthly meetings, and management of all communications- Implemented an 18-month leadership development program for 50 mid-level actuarial & analytic leaders- Driving actuarial learning & development focused on articulating a desired learning culture, identifying skill gaps and priority areas, communication strategy, & creating accountabilities for employees and leaders- Developed and executing a talent acquisition strategy for the actuarial & analytics community- Recruited and manage a director to execute leadership development and engagement strategy for the actuarial & analytics community Show less
