  - Operation of Nitric Acid Plants, Ammonium Nitrate Plants and Cooling towers which consist of pumps, compressors, exchangers, scrubbers, steam turbines, and waste heat boilers producing high-pressure steam. - Check the plant daily and record findings in the area.- Conduct troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, boiler water testing as well as ammonium nitrate tank sampling and testing. - Load ammonium nitrate solution rail cars and trucks as well as offloading of ammonia rail cars. - Recently began training to become DCS Operator, responsible for running two Nitric Acid plants, Ammonium Nitrate plant and associated Utilities.Attributes: Extensive start-up and shutdown experience of all plants, permit issuing for maintenance work in operating areas as well as experience and involvement with plant turnarounds. Successful completion of plant progressions in a timely manner through all operating areas. Carry the ability to remain calm during challenging conditions with the capacity to work alone or within a team environment. Show less
