  Complex Case Manager, contracted by the Federal government, Department of Veteran Affairs. Currently managing ex-Australian Defence Force (ADF) Complex Clients within a Trauma Informed Practice to encompass a range of services and programs to provide support for veterans and their families. Facilitation of an environment of physical, emotional, and psychological safety to support veterans to access their lawful entitlements. Fulfil the core functions of needs assessment, goal setting and planning, case management and outcome measurement. Liaise with the ADF, ex-service organisations, community groups, and service providers to facilitate service provision to case coordinated clients identified as being at risk and/or with complex multiple needs and encourage informal support networks.Assist clients to access the required information and support services for their psychological and physical health, and medical needs. Link clients to appropriate mental health and other services.Development of risk management plans for, and strategies to, assist clients identified as being at risk and/or with complex multiple needs. Representational duties including group presentations to internal and external stakeholders as required.Provide clinical advice and coaching to colleagues and other DVA staff as required to assist in managing challenging client presentations and risk escalations.Provide consultation and support to other staff when requested, drawing upon specific areas of expertise.Support the empowerment of the veteran to inform their future and obtain their goals.
