  There are different types of transducers of Sonar are manufactured here. My key responsibilities are:• Testing of different types of electrical parameters (viz. Resonant frequency ,Anti-resonant frequency, Impedance ,Capacitance,Inductance ,Insulation Resistance, phase etc.) of Sonar transducers and other underwater transducers at different stages of its manufacturing process.• Electrical parameters measurement and testing of different types of piezoelectric material rings and tubes of different types of transducers .• Operation of different types of electrical measuring instruments and other equipments used to measure and analysis of different type of electrical parameters of Transducers . They are Impedance Analyser, Digital Storage Oscilloscope/cathode ray oscilloscope, Function generator, Multimeter, LCR meter, Meggar, Power Supply etc.• Accoustic Test and Measurement of electrical parameters like Power, Impedance, transmitting voltage response (TVR) ,Source Level (SL) ,Receiving Sensivity(RS), Resonant frequency anti-resonant frequency, Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and Phase etc.measurements with Data Acquisition System(DAQ) of different types of Sonartransducers(viz. HUMSA NG, LF, HF, Hydrophones, OAS elements, ISHF, Echosounder etc). Show less

  My key Responsibilities Are •Installation of Air Loop & Gas Detection System• Calibration and Commissioning of Wireless H2S Sensors (Honeywell,Detcon), Personnel Monitors & Multi Gas Detector (BW Gas Clip)as required and record that Sensor checks and calibration were conducted in the Drilling Contractor's LogProviding Training to Personnel about Donning and Doffing of Breathing Apparatus (SCBA,SABA,EEBD), Properties and Characteristics of H2S and how to Airloop Systems• Evacuation of Victim and First Aid during emergency• H2S Awareness Safety Orientation and BA Training to all New Arrivals on Rigs• Conduct Functional Checks of all SCBA,SABA & EEBD Equipment Record result on Inspection Record card Contained in each Carrying cases• Physical Inspection of Breathing Apparatus and Trouble Shooting Positive Pressure of mask,Failure of Demand Valve, Inhalation and Exhalation Function alarm, Work line hose leak etc made by Dragger & Scott•Testing the Environment for the Presence of H2S Gas and Providing Continuous Monitoring of Crews at rig site• Conducting Pre-Job Safety Meetings with Rig Crew and preparation of Work Permit for Task on Hand• Provide Continuous Monitoring of Gas Concentration with Multi Gas Detector and H2S Detection tubes (Calorimetric tubes) during activities that have Potential for and H2S Release ie Coring operation, Production testing of well, Well kick, Abnormal Conditions Show less
