Provide insight, share ideas and act as part of a dynamic active leadership team at The Newport Aquarium, a for profit AZA accredited facility. Responsible for the animal collection at the Aquarium as well as the associated employees that care for the animals and the supporting budgets. Responsible for the volunteer intern program, assist animal exhibit design including the Aquarium's $4 million expansion. Responsible for all elasmobranch species in the collection including the Aquarium's marquee tank, Surrounded by Sharks Exhibit; also responsible for executing all assigned quarantine at an off-site warehouse and general up keep of the "living" portion of the warehouse.
