  Emporos’ mission statement is to “make health care commerce safe and simple”Built on foundations in project management and account management at Emporos I was promoted after a year to manage a key cloud migration initiative. Roughly 80% of our existing outpatient customer base was implemented on-premise where local IT teams would manage server upgrades. Moving customers to our Azure cloud hosting allowed them to offload the responsibility of managing VMs and physical servers in certain cases. Our web based mobile and lighted bag products are built only to be supported in our cloud hosting further incentivizing the move. I worked with an internal team of upgrade and implementation specialists, devops engineers and client network security, database admins, identity admins, and pharmacy stakeholders to ensure the safe and successful migration of application data for health systems of up to 65 sites and over 120 lanes.
