      • Engaged in the Full Basin and Laguna Lake-level Analysis for Flood Susceptibility Assessment of Commercial Facilities located at Pasay City, Batangas, Marikina City, Parañaque City, and Negros Occidental as a consultant for a private company.• Integrated Modeling Team Member in the Comprehensive Assessment and Conservation of Blue Carbon Ecosystems and Their Services in the Coral Triangle (BlueCARES) Project, a collaborative project between the University of the Philippines - Diliman and Tokyo Institute of Technology funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).• Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modeling: Watershed modeling and discharge estimation, flood modeling, and flood mapping using HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS. Also involved in developing RIDF curves using alternating block method and extreme rainfall projections using global climate models.• On-site Field Measurements: Conducted intensive field surveys to gather meteorological data (rainfall, humidity, wind, solar radiation, etc.), hydrologic data (river discharge measurements), hydrodynamic data (bathymetry, water level, velocity, salinity), sediment data (coastal sediment cores, suspended solids, river bed sediments), and water quality data (DO, Nitrates, Phosphates, etc.).• GIS: Performed catchment delineation of different study site watersheds, analyzed decadal land cover change for watersheds, and produced output maps to communicate results using ArcGIS for desktop.• Technical Report Writing: Prepared technical reports for the project including some research that has already been published in a local journal.
