  The Seismic Processing Center at AGOGO, Benghazi, LibyaOctober 11, 2015This is an introduction to the new seismic Processing Center at AGOCO in Benghazi, Libya which was formed approximately 10 years ago to handle AGOCO’s seismic processing demands but also all manner of seismic requests from other oil companies and contractors in Libya. The In House Center consists of one Seismic Processing Superintendent, 12 number of process Geophysicists and3 number of programmers and technicians. The Center uses state of the art advanced technology called Geovation under license from CGG in Paris, France and is capable of processing in 2D, 3 D and 4D data. The Geovation proprietary software is a much more advanced version of the original software called GEOCLUSTER but is designed and vastly improved to allow the software to handle many more seismic attributes and azimuth than in previous years. The work done at the center has been of such high quality that the National Oil Company (NOC) has given the center and its staff great praise and merit for its high standard of seismic processing along with other tailored requests from time to time for individual companies. The seismic processing center at AGOCO is cost effective and meets deadlines. There is no job too big or too small for Geovation to handle.
