  Beginning in 1988 as Manager of Sales I lead the team to milestone performance and was promoted to Director of Operations. In this capacity I managed 12 corporate locations nationwide. This included facilities, purchasing, inventory control, freight logistics, fleet management, and a $1m 4yr development of rental reservation software (R2) which is in use currently. I initiated a nationwide freight logistics consolidation saving 25% net cost over a multi year exclusive contract also still in place.I was then promoted to Corporate Director and Risk Manager, managing larger projects, notably leasing new, larger facilities and moving our Burbank and Dallas offices after executing substantial build outs. Developed and submitted budgets for all departments as well as reviewed all personnel•Responsible for building a 55’ Expando HD mobile television truck for the NHRA to fulfill a 5 year contract. Was able to save the company $200K off of a $451K budget, and brought the project in on time•Initiated and supervised internet and data connection between two buildings via Cisco microwave rather than AT&T T-1 fiber, saving the company $12,000 over a binding 4 year contract•Brought in vendors from projection, switching, terminal, and camera systems, to train our engineering and support staff as well as out touring engineers•Introduced training assistance from our parent company to conduct seminars for our engineering department•Initiated bringing in touring EIC’s to participate in the building of packages to better serve their needs, identify issues, and to reduce shipping costs to tours after initial launch•Upgraded analogue components and flight packs to digital and HD, as well as testing and troubleshooting equipment.•Developed and maintained an inventory spreadsheet to track and plan major pieces of video and projection equipment for tours and one offs•Initiated, developed, and trained a Purchasing Service Coordinator position to centralize and better administrate the purchasing and service cycle needs of all departments and tour support requests.•Reorganized all areas of the warehouse and improved work flow by positioning critical equipment components and supplies directly adjacent to related activities•Identified and recycled all equipment that was no longer viable accumulated over 8 years•Handled all Corporate Risk Management•settled all theft, damage, and accident claims Show less
